Scheduling (K-12)

Elementary/Middle School Students:

  • Curriculum: Students take courses on the Connexus/Pearson platform.
  • G.A.T.E:  We offer accelerated courses in ELA, Math and Science for grades 3-8.  
  • K-8 Students: Required to take a minimum of 5 courses (4 core classes: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, and 1 preselected elective).
  • 6-8th Grade Students: There are no elective options for middle school students, as they are predetermined for this grade level.

High School Students:

  • Curriculum: Students take courses on the Edgenuity platform (exception of 1 course on Canvas)
  • 9-11th Grade Students:  Required to take a minimum of 6 Courses. Seniors can take less than 6 if they meet certain requirements.* 
  • Scheduling: Please use the High School Plan of Study & the Graduation Requirements & Diploma links below to help you choose courses and make your academic plan.

**If you intend to return to your zone school, your parent must contact the zone school ASAP to enroll.***

To Choose Classes:

  1. Watch appropriate grade level scheduling video below
  2. Complete appropriate grade level schedule form to choose electives.
    • Please note core classes will be chosen by your counselor based on academic performance, credits needed for graduation, and responses to specific questions on this form.
  3. Please note, course choices are limited. There are no additional option other than those classes provided on form. Other options for courses may include dual credit courses and/or correspondence classes (be sure to review powerpoint for more detailed info).
