Welcome to North Star Online School! 

North Star Online School is a public, accredited, online school for Kindergarten through twelfth grade students in the Washoe County School District (WCSD).  North Star offers students a quality online education with a flexible schedule under the guidance of WCSD teachers.  North Star students have access to all WCSD resources and are able to participate in extracurricular activities at their local zoned school.   North Star Online School offers independent learners the opportunity to have a flexible schedule by serving students in multiple capacities. Most often, students work online from home while meeting teachers for support via Microsoft Teams. Students also attend on campus and/or off-site school sponsored activities including field trips, open lab on campus, and other by-appointment teacher support sessions.
